How We Started
The club started in 2002 when a group of people that visit the Pop Up Times magazine web site ( www.popuptimes.com) decided to go camping together at Hickory Run State Park, Pennsylvania. That June weekend 5 families got together
for the first time and the club was formed. We arrived at the park as strangers and two days later we left as friends.

Our 2003 Trips
The Club has grown in 2003 and we had several trips. The first of the year was to Assateague Island National Seashore
in Maryland for Easter, in April and the last was at North-South Lake State Park in New York, in October. There
was even snow on the ground when everyone arrived. In between we had several trips and our annual fall trip to Hickory
Run State Park in PA where we had 15 families attend. Some were disappointed that we didn't see any bears this year,
but others didn't seem to mind.

More About Our Plans
The club is slowly growing and we have been trying out some new campgrounds. If you know of a nice campground
let us know and we can plan a trip there.
